Alfonso Chavarria

Alfonso Chavarria, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Chavarria is preceded in death by his son, Alfonso Chavarria, Jr; parents, Viviano Chavarria and Guadalupe Chavarria; brother, Ricardo Chavarria.

Mr. Chavarria is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Consuelo Chavarria; daughters, Alma Nora Chavarria (Denise Allen), Ana Luisa Chavarria, Araceli Guadalupe (Richard) Soliz, Adriana Maria Chavarria, and Ariana Maria Chavarria; grandchildren, Cassandra Consuelo Flores, and Benjamin Soliz; brother, Viviano (Rosalva) Chavarria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. A cremation will be held at a later date.

Alfonso’s family would like to thank the special care of Star South Texas Ambulance Response and its workers.

Military Honors will be provided by Fort Sam Houston Honor Guard and American Legion Post 59 Honor Guard.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
