Alfred Barrera, 71, was called by the Lord on September 28, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Benito & Marcela Barrera, siblings: Daniel Barrera, Jesse Barrera, Richard (Debbie) Barrera, Casimero Barrera, and Dolores (Mauro) Martinez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Esperanza Alicia Barrera, daughters: Rosemarie Annette Perez and Cynthia (Steve) Isztok, grandchildren: Adriana Annette Perez, Monica Marleen Perez, Paulino Perez IV, Daniel Gonzalez, Jacob Isztok & Steve Isztok, great grandchild, Hailey Renea Medina, siblings: Janie (Alfredo) Aguirre, Benito (Anita) Barrera, Joe (Sara) Barrera, Mary Chavez Barrera, Robert (+Yolanda) Barrera, Josephine (Leonard) Summerrise, Ruben Barrera, sister-in-law, Lilly Barrera, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Military honors will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at the Laredo City Cemetery Veteran’s Section at 12pm, and the family will be receiving guests immediately thereafter from 1pm to 5pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043.
