Amelia Turrubiates de Herrera, age 78, passed away on July 31, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Herrera, father, Francisco Turrubiates Garcia, mother, Gregoria Zuñiga Garcia, sons: Jose Manuel De Leon Turrubiates & Cristobal de Leon Turrubiates, siblings, Angel Turrubiates, Bonifacio Turrubiates & Felix Turrubiates.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maria Luisa (Juan Jose) Ochoa, Jose Arturo Herrera, Maria Elizabeth (Juan Carlos) Esquivel, Celatiel (Nancy) Herrera, Celia Herrera & Celma Herrera, 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Nancy Herrera, siblings, Aurora Turrubiates, Cenon Turrubiates, Irene Turrubiates, Elena Turrubiates & Reina Turrubiates, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a chapel service will commence at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
