Carlos Zamora Jr.

Carlos Zamora Jr., beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Charlie as he was known by everyone, he was a lifelong resident of Laredo, but in recent years was employed in Cotulla as a game room manager. Credited by his employer as the heart of his business, Charlie was a tireless worker who cared immensely for the business and the community he served. He was well respected and will be greatly missed for his fun-loving character and zeal for life.

Charlie is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose Guadalupe and Nicolasa C. Reyes.

He is survived by his loving mother Mary Ruth (Nicasio) Ruiz; siblings, Jose (Juanita) Zamora and Priscilla (Roel) Vela. Mr. Zamora is also survived by nieces, nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
