Concepcion Hernandez

Concepcion V. Hernandez, 83, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was born on August 15, 1940 in Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Jose Maria Hernandez; daughters: Doris Maria Martinez, Leticia M. Hernandez; great-grandson: Roy Alexander Martinez; parents: Salvador Vasquez and Manuela de los Santos; siblings: Geronimo Vasquez, Elvira Ramos, Trinidad Sanchez.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter: Bernadette Sofie Martinez; grandchildren: Manuel Roy (Karina Sanchez) Martinez Jr.; great-grandchildren: Gael Santacruz, Karime Martinez, Kailani Martinez; sister: Irene Garza, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 9 am on Friday, January 19, 2024, to St. Joseph Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
