Consuelo "Chelo" S. Villarreal

Consuelo "Chelo" S. Villarreal, 83, beloved mother, was called to her eternal resting place on February 12, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 27, 1938 in Ciudad Anahuac, Nuevo Leon Mexico, she remained a lifelong resident of Laredo.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 46 years of marriage, Florencio Villarreal Sr.; son, Florencio Villarreal Jr; parents, Jose & Alberta Saldana; brother, Albino Saldana.

She is survived by her children, San Juana (Jose Luis Alvarado) Villarreal, Maria Guadalupe (Salvador Jr.) Galvan, Maricela (Jesus III) Arrambide, Carlos Villarreal, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give special thanks to Altus Hospice Care & At Your Service Home Care for all their attention. A very special thank you goes to her daughter, Maria Guadalupe; son in law, Salvador Galvan Jr. for taking care of our mother.
