Cruz R. Lopez, 60, was called by the Lord on August 16, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Carmen Rodriguez & her siblings: Benito Rodriguez, Elodia Rodriguez, Ignacio Rodriguez, Sabina Rodriguez, Juana Dominguez, Josefina Puente, Catalina Gonzalez, Raul Rodriugez, Consuelo Salinas, Marialena Muñiz, & Antonio Rodriguez. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ignacio Lopez, children: Veronica (Eduardo Maltos) Lopez, Maricruz Lopez (Juan Diaz)Diaz, Ignacio (Jessica) Lopez Jr., & Arlene (Sergio Garcia) Lopez, grandchildren: Giovanni, Eduardo Jr., Zendaya, Kriselli, Nathan, Chantelle, Natalie, Delilah, Sergio Jr., & Milan, siblings: Candelaria Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Herlinda Olivo, & Guadalupe Robles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will be offered at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 am on Monday, August 22, 2022 to Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church for a Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ignacio Lopez, Ignacio Lopez Jr., Eduardo Maltos, Juan Diaz, Sergio Garcia, & Giovanni Serna.
