Cynthia A. Martinez, 37, was called by the Lord on January 15, 2021.

She was preceded in death her maternal grandmother, Severa Lopez de Vargas & her paternal grandfather, Marcelino Martinez Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Roxanna Valadez & Ezequiel Cuevas, grandson, Dylan Lopez, parents: Marcelino & Nora E. Martinez Jr., siblings: Marcelino Martinez III, Adalberto Martinez & Lilian Martinez, paternal grandmother: Amada Rodriguez de Martinez, nieces and nephews: Meleny Martinez, Marcelino Martinez IV, Kiara Castillo, Rafael Hernandez, Alondra Martinez & Ximena Martinez, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m. Procession departs at 12:00 p.m. to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Marcelino Martinez Jr., Adalberto Martinez, Daniel Hernandez Jr., Fabian Flores, Marcelino Martinez IV, Ezequiel Cuevas.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
