Daniel "Pollo" Sotelo

Daniel "Pollo" Sotelo, 66, was called by the Lord on March 10, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Florencio & Maria Sotelo and his sisters: Delia Sotelo & Elva Sotelo.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Matilda Lee Sotelo, children: Jennifer Lee Soliz (Luis A) Cisneros, Orlando (Marlene M.) Soliz, Erik (Natalie) Brown & Alyssa M. Sotelo, grandchildren: Luis Jr., Heaven, Ezar, Natalie, Leah, Zaylee, Ian C., Ethan, Jayson, Kathy, Marlene, Aaron, & Ashley, siblings: Olga Sotelo, Armando Sotelo & Oscar Sotelo, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Orlando Soliz, Erik Brown, Luis Cisneros, Robert Soliz, Carlos Soliz, Armando Sotelo, Javier Soliz & Armando Sotelo Jr..

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. by Everardo & Angelica Cavazos from Templo Jerusalen.

Visitations will continue on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Gamez and Sons Funeral & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 9:00 a.m. by Everardo & Angelica Cavazos from Templo Jerusalen.  Funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:15 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
