Eliseo Perez

Eliseo Ricardo Perez, 69, was called by the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2017, surrounded by his wife, children and family members.

A proud Vietnam Veteran, Eliseo served his country bravely and with loyalty on his ship, the USS Intrepid. Back home he was a line-man for South Western Bell for 30 years. A humble man, Eliseo loved to spend time with his family and friends at his “office.” He will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Perez and sister, Alma Laurel.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Minerva Cabello Perez, his children: Roque (Adriana) Perez, Ricardo Noe (Raquel) Perez and Camillia (David) Gonzalez, mother, Herminia Perez, siblings: Manuel Edgardo (Lourdes) Perez, Sylvia (+Joaquin) Arreguin, Clarissa (Eusebio) Castilleja, Gerardo Perez and Lucila (+Rodolfo) Barrera, brother-in-law, Efrain Laurel, 8 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, his Cabello relatives, numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a visitation will be held from 7am to 10am and a Liturgical Service will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery Veteran's Section. Pallbearers will be: Roque Perez, Ricardo Noe Perez, Ramiro Emilio Perez, Manuel Edgardo Perez, Gerardo Perez, Francisco Cabello, Carlos Cabello, and Rogelio Cabello. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Joseph Brian Gonzalez, Alejandro Noe Perez, Ricardo Cabello and Mario E. Rangel.

Military honors will be provided by the Veteran's Honor Guard and the United States Navy.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
