Elodia Gomez

Elodia Gomez, 82, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Hilario Gomez Sr.; daughter, Maria Martha Gomez Contreras; son, Juan Jesus Gomez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jose Hilario (Yvonne) Gomez Jr., Eugenia Gomez, Olga Lydia (Henry) Baca, Adriana (Sam) Lakhiani, and Gabriel (Angelica) Gomez. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gamez & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
