Virginia G. Morales, 97, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2024, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Morales Sr.; parents: Andres Garcia Cavazos and Elodia Serrano de Garcia; siblings: Andres Garcia Serrano, Maria de los Angeles de Nogueira; nephew: Alberto Nogueira Garcia.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her chiidren: Virginia Morales (Luis Sotocampo +), Patricia Morales Harmon (Jeff), Monica M. Selman (Keith), Ruben Morales Jr. (Yoko), Andres Morales (Vanessa); grandchildren: Chandra Sotocampa, Eduardo Selman, Stephanie Mejia, Leslie Villarreal, Alejandro Selman, Reuben Morales, Hannah Selman, Charity Fuller, Stacey Morales, Andre Morales, Patrick Morales, Emma Morales, Lucia Morales, Diego Morales; great-grandchildren: Joshua Morales, Luis Carreon, Chantal Carreon, Noah Villarreal, Nolan Selman, Edison Selman, Leah Villarreal, Adam Villarreal, Apollo Perales, Luca Cervantes; sister: Elodia Garcia Macias, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services on Sunday, September 22, 2024. A Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

A funeral procession will depart the chapel at 9:30 am on Monday, September 23, 2024, to St. John Neumann Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am by Rev. Jose Luis Balderas.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
