Esperanza Vega

Esperanza Vega, 71, passed away on July, 20, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Vega is preceded in death by her husband, Amado Vega.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amado (Josefina) Vega, Victor Mateo (Marisela) Vega, Sergio Antonio (Conception) Vega, Claudia (Enrique) Mompala, Juan Carlos (Maria de la Luz) Vega, Hugo (Erika) Vega, Janet (Javier) Rico, Jorge (Ana) Vega; 27 grandchildren, 5 great gradchildren; siblings, Emilia Garcia, Virginia Garcia, Luciano Garcia, Felipe Garcia, Esther Garcia, Teresa Garcia, Mario Armenta, Jose Armenta, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited  50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
