Fernando Gaytan, 68, was called by the Lord on June 19, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Benita Gaytan, and brothers: Mario Gaytan, Evodio Gaytan and Gerardo Gaytan.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Isabel (Ismael) Juarez, Fernando (+Patricia) Gaytan Jr., Tomas (Adriana) Gaytan, and Martha (Ricardo Garcia) Gaytan, life partner, Anita Ramirez, grandchildren: Yvette (Peter) Martinez Jr., Melinda Gaytan, Tomas (Erika Castro) Gaytan Jr., Kimberly B. Rivera, Kristina E. Rivera, Jesus Rivera III, James Rivera, Ismael Juarez Jr., and Isabella M. Juarez, great-grandchildren: Derek D. Martinez, Aliyah M. Martinez, Nathan J. Gaytan, and Matthew S. Gaytan, siblings: Gabriel Gaytan, Inocencia (+Mauro) Castillo, Teresa (Jose) Placencia, Isidoro (Norma) Gaytan Jr., Raquel (Jose) Calderon, Alicia (Tomas) Rocha, Ricarda Rocha, and Francisco (+Margarita) Gaytan, sisters-in-law: Felipa Gaytan and Carolina Gaytan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, at Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tomas Gaytan Jr, Pedro Martinez Jr., Francisco Gaytan Jr., Jerry Gaytan, Alberto Barco and Hector Soliz.
