Flavio Alvarez

Mr. Flavio Alvarez, 82, entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2023, in Laredo, Texas at his residence. 

He is preceded in death by his sister: Blasa Alvarez; children: Alejandro Alvarez, Claudio Alvarez, Angel Joel Alvarez, and Dora Alicia Hernandez.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving spouse: Victoria Alvarez; children: Pedro Alvarez (Nora Gomez), Dora Laura Rios (Joaquin) Rios, Juan Gabriel Alvarez, Alma Lydia Alvarez (Natalie Salinas); grandchildren: Angel Joel Alvarez Jr., Ana Patricia Alvarez, Elizabeth Alvarez, Sergio Alvarez, Brenda Alvarez, Maria Alejandra Hernandez, Laura Lizette Hernandez, Karla Yamilt Hernandez, Jesus Alberto Hernandez, Sasha Alvarez, Laura Estrada, Abigail Rios, Jeosafat Rios, Claudia Alvarez, Aislem Alvarez; great-grandchildren: Angel Joel Alvarez III, Alicia Monserrat Alvarez, Alejandro Alvarez, Axel Alvarez, Victoria Lee Castillo, Angel Castillo Jr., Deshawn Gonzalez, Ramiro Gonzalez III, Andre Gonzalez, Alliya Alvarez, Guillermo Reyes; sister: Virginia Hinojosa; sister-in-Law: Emilia Alvarez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 9 am to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Fuenral procession will depart the chapel at 8:30 am on Friday, September 8, 2023 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, US Hwy 359.
