Francisca Melendez

Francisca Christina Melendez was called by the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

Francisca worked for five years at Macys and was a very loving mother, wife, daughter and sister. She loved to take care of her children and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Felipe A. & Carmen Hurtado Melendez, and Father-in-law, Alberto Rodriguez Sr.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Alberto Rodriguez Jr., Children: Alberto Rodriguez III, Abraham Joell  Rodriguez, and Giselle A. Rodriguez, father, Abraham Cervantes, mother, Ernestina Melendez, mother-in-law, Anna A. Rodriguez, siblings: Jose Luis (Christina Delgado) Melendez, Angie Cervantes, and Jessica (Jorge Cruz) Cervantes, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guest on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 09, 2016 from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Alberto Rodriguez Jr., Alberto Rodriguez III, Abraham Joell Rodriguez, Jose Luis Melendez, Felix Melendez, Nicolas Salinas, Daniel Rodriguez, and Leo Desafo.

Funeral services are under the arrangements of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
