He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Jose Gregorio Costilla; uncles: Martin Costilla, Joaquin Costilla; aunt: Elvira Gonzalez.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife: Martha Maria Raga; children: Jenna Costilla, Jazmin Costilla, Janelle Costilla, and Jelena Costilla; step-daughters: Natalie Vazquez, Danielle Rosales, Itzel Rosales, and Rey Vazquez; father: Jesus J. (Maria Azeneth) Costilla; mother: Maria Costilla; siblings: Jesus Jaime (Jennifer) Costilla Jr., Jessica Kimberly (Jesus Garcia) Costilla, Jennifer Nicole (Antonio Vasquez) Costilla, Jaime Javier Costilla, Claudia (Alex) Hinojosa; Step Mother, Elia Chavarria; half-brothers: Fernando Padilla, Antonio Padilla, and Jorge Padilla; paternal grandmother: San Juanita Costilla, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, where a Prayer Service will be held at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will commence on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 7 am to 9:15 am at Gamez and Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, where a Chapel Service will be held at 8:30 am

Procession will form and depart the funeral chapel at 9:15 am to the Laredo City Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.

Pallbearers will be: Jesus J. Costilla, Jesus J. Costilla Jr., Jaime Costilla, Jesus Garcia, Antonio Vasquez, Jorge Padilla, Alex Hinojosa, and Antonio Padilla.
