Francisco Gonzalez

Francisco L. Gonzalez, 86, was called by the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Reymundo Gonzalez and Maria De Jesus Gonzalez; sister, Maria Felipa Chapa.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 59 years Julia Godina Gonzalez; children, Gloria Belden, Nora (Jorge) Mendoza, Gonzalo Gonzalez, San Juanita Gonzalez, Elsa Rebecca Gonzalez, Alma (Richard) Perales, Irma Graciela (Eduardo) Saldivar, and Gerardo (Sandra) Gonzalez; siblings, Anita Morado and Reymundo (Armandina) Gonzalez Jr.; grandchildren, Valeria, Gloria Jo, Celina (Felipe), Jackie, Gonzalo Jr. (Roxanna), Markos (Amanda), Eduardo, Alex, Eddie III, Ian, Ilynne, J.C., and Oliva; great-grandchildren, Julia, Tyler, Donovan, Steven, Ricardo, Kayla, Kylie, Sebastian, Andres, and Emma. Mr. Gonzalez is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Jackie Gonzalez, Roxanna Ambriz, Ana Pacheco (Heavenly Nurses), and the staff at Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
