Gustavo Guadalupe Fernandez Soldevilla

Gustavo Guadalupe Fernandez Soldevilla, 33, entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2024, in Laredo, Texas. Gustavo was a proud team member of HEB., having started over 15 years ago, starting at the HEB on San Dario and Del Mar, then to the Saunders location, then to Zapata Hwy, then to the "Gucci-B" on Del Mar and McPherson, HEB Plus, returning then to where he started at the HEB on San Dario and Del Mar. Most recently he had accepted a promotion and moved to Del Rio, Texas, to be the Grocery Manager at that HEB. His parting leaves an enormous void in our hearts. He made many friends throughout his career.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents: Gustavo Fernandez Zamora and Claudia Soldevilla Castillo; siblings: Deyanira (Arnulfo) Gonzalez Jr., Bryan Fernandez; nieces and nephews: Sebastian Gonzalez, Olivia Gonzalez, Paola Gonzalez; paternal grandparents: Antonio Fernandez Rocha and Bonifacia Vega Cabrera; maternal grandparents: Rogelio Soldevilla Yañez and Aristea Soldevilla; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

The funeral processiona will depart the chapel at 9:30 am to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Liturgy of the Word and Communion at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
