Hector J. Carrillo

Hector J. Carrillo, 63, was called by the Lord on February 20, 2021.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rosa Reyes Carrillo; children, Jesus Rodriguez III, Jesus Palmerin (Julieta) Hernandez, Javier Palmerin (Cassandra) Valvidia, Juan A. Carillo (Martha Gallardo), Hector J. Carrillo Jr. (Vania Gallegos); 6 grandchildren; siblings, Jorge (Lucero) Carrillo, Angelica Carrillo, Ladislao (Sylvia) Carrillo Jr., Juan (Laura) Carrillo, Monica (Juan) De La Rosa, Maria Ernestina (Gustavo) Carrillo, numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021, at Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession departs at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
