Hortencia Heard

Hortencia Heard, 80, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Guadalupe Ortega de Tello.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Celestino Heard; children: Patricia Heard, Guillermina Heard, Petra (Francisco J.) Morales, Nidia Heard (Salvador Vela, Jr.), and Jose Antonio (Priscilla) Heard; 8 grandchildren; sister, Margarita Ortega; brother, Santos Ortega, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, from the funeral home to Santo Niño Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m. and a procession departs at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
