Jorge Barrera

Jorge Omar Barrera Sr, 61, was called by the Lord on October 9, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his son, Juan Gallegos Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Maria de Jesus Barrera, children: Armando Gallegos, Sandra (David) Reyes, Jorge Omar (Stephanie) Barrera, Mary Alice Barrera, and Maria Teresa Barrera, grandchildren: Juan Pablo Puente, Victor Puente, Ashlee Puente, Alyssa Brianna Gallegos, Armando Gallegos Jr, Kailyn Barrera, Maisie Lynn Esparza, Krystal Renae Esparza, Jorge Omar Barrera III, and Alayla Camila Barrera, siblings: Blanca Estela Rivera, Maria Elva (Juan) Solano, and Felipe Roberto Barrera, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 12, 2018 from the funeral home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrate at 11:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
