Jose Cavazos

Jose Isabel “Chavelo” Cavazos, 66, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife of 40 years and other family and friends on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Enrique & Regina Cavazos; sisters, Guadalupe Cavazos & Felipa Cavazos.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Luisa Cavazos; sisters, Concha (Jorge) De La Rosa, Maria (Jesus) Hernandez, Maria Lea Cavazos Martinez, Nicolasa Cavazos; and his niece, Mayra Pena. Mr. Cavazos is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family & friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a vigil will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from the funeral home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. A cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
