Jose Luis Serrano, 81, proud Veteran of the US Air Force, has entered into his eternal rest on January 29, 2024, in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Simon Serrano Sr. and Delfina Serrano; siblings: Simon Serrano Jr., and Pedro Serrano; son-in-law: Julian Mar; grandson: Julian Rangel; granddaughter: Jannel Serrano.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his spouse: Elvira Lopez Serrano; children: Patricia Serrano, Cynthia Rose Serrano, Billy (Azucena de Luna) Serrano, Edward Louis Daniel Serrano; grandchildren: Marco Rangel, Jose Rangel, Sophia Padron, Erick Padron, Billy Serrano Jr., Candy Serrano, Nicole Serrano, Jacob Serrano, Roel Serrano, Kevin Serrano, Joe Serrano, Melanie Serrano, Daisy Serrano, Julian Saucedo, Mia Serrano, Destiny Serrano, Janneysi Serrano, Jaylah Serrano, Kyandra Serrano; sister: Cleo Sanchez; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 4 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a prayer service will be held at 7pm.

Visitations will continue on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 7 to 10am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a chapel service will be held at 9:30am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
