Jose Maria Ramirez

Mr. Jose M. Ramirez, 90, entered into God’s peaceful heaven on March 13, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in San Ygnacio, Texas on March 31, 1932 and had been residing in San Antonio for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Agripina P. Ramirez; son Roberto Ricardo Ramirez; daughter: Maria Celia Ramirez; parents: Vidal and Maria de Jesus Ramirez; brothers: Ignacio, Miguel, Oscar, Guillermo Ramirez and Antonia Ramirez Ramos.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his five children: Jose (Annette M.) Ramirez Jr., Jesus M. (Yolanda G.) Ramirez, Teodoro G. (Edna P.) Ramirez, Sylvia R. (Jesus) Landeros, and Rosa M. (Pablo) Hernandez; 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; brother: Ramon Ramirez; sister: Maria Celia (Alberto) Gonzalez; son in law: Manuel Martinez;, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary for the repose of his soul will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 departing the funeral chapel at 9 am to St. Agnes Catholic Mission in Mirando City for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.

Pallbearers will be: Ted Ramirez, Jaime Ramirez, Joe Ramirez Jr., Mito Martinez, Esteban Leal, and Monica Landeros.
