Jose Yañez, 79, was called by the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Julia Yañez vda. de Ordaz, brothers: Andres Yañez and Leopoldo Franco Perez and granddaughter: Mariana Lorena Yañez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Virginia Yañez, children: Juan Antonio (Leticia Jimenez) Yañez, Marciela Yañez, Jose Javier Yañez, Juan Carlos (Enedina) Yañez, Juan Jose Yañez, siblings: Guillermina (+Oscar) Bonilla, Margarita (+Fortino) Holguin, Juanita (Jose Luis) Valadez & Venancio Yañez, grandchildren: Virginia (Abraham) Villarreal, Hayde Yañez, Maribel Yañez and Juan Yañez, great-grandson, Rogelio Garza, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will recite at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church where a funeral mass will commence at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
