Jose "Joey" Chapa III

Jose Chapa III, 32, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in Forth Worth, Texas .

He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jose Chapa IV and Jacob Jeremy Chapa; mother, Maria Leonor Pottin; step-father, Henry A. Pottin; sisters, Jessica (Jaime Hector) Esparza and Jennifer Marie (Jesus) Carrizalez. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Procession will be held immediately after to Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Military Section of the  City of Laredo Cemetery.

Military Honors will be provided by Laredo Veteran Honor Guard and Flad Detail by Forth Sam Houston.
