Jose "Pepe" Vega
January 21, 1944 — March 21, 2016
Jose "Pepe" Vega, 72, owner of Vega's Pallets, was called by the Lord on March 24, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Perales and cousin Israel Lopez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Elsa Vega, his mother, Maria Virginia Perales, his children: Velma (Daniel Flores) Vega, Jose Vega III, Sara (Nicolas Dominguez) Vega, Juan (Veronica) Vega, Veronica (Rene) Cardona, and Jesus (Gilda) Vega, brother, Roberto (Elizabeth) Vega, 32 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Friday, April 1, 2016, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Interment will follow immediately at the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jose Vega III, Juan Vega, Jesus Vega, Daniel Flores, Nicolas Dominguez, and Rene Cardona.
