Juana "Esmi" Chapa

Mrs. Juana Esmeralda Chapa, 63, entered into God's heavenly gates on July 13, 2022 and is now at rest. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all whose life she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Andres and Gloria Oliva; several siblings amongst other extended relatives.

Surviving her are her husband: Oscar A. Chapa; children: Oscar Alberto Chapa (Jillian), Alexis Arrambidez, Eric A. Chapa (Viviana Gusman Reyes); son in law: Juan Carlos Arrambidez; 9 grandchildren; numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive the condolences on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral & Cremation Services; where a Prayer Service will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 9:45 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 to the Laredo City Cemetery for the Graveside Service. Visiting hours will begin at 7 am until the time of departure.

Pallbearers will be: Oscar Alberto Chapa, Eric A. Chapa, Juan Carlos Arrambidez Sr., Juan Carlos Arrambidez Jr., Derrick Arrambidez, Henry Guzman, Gerardo Oliva, and Victor Oliva.
