Juan Francisco Pineda Chaires, 32, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Gregorio & Maria Pineda; siblings, Jesus A. (Beatriz) Pineda, Juliana (Arturo) Chavana, Javier (Mayra) Pineda; nieces & nephews, Arturo Chavana Jr., Crystal Chavana, Joel Chavana, Alessandra Chavana, Alexander Chavana, Javier Pineda Jr., Genesis Pineda, and Lizbeth Pineda; aunts, uncles, numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services were a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020, funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m.  Procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to St. Joseph Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jesus Pineda, Javier Pineda, Javier Pineda Jr., Arturo Chavana, Arturo Chavana Jr., Marcos Mendoza, and Angel Mendoza.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
