Juanita Duran

Mrs. Juanita Duran, 81, entered into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 26, 2024, at her residence, having been lovingly surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on March 3, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She worked for over 31 years with the Laredo Independent School District, starting her career at Raymond and Tirza Martin High, transferred then to Ochoa Elementary, where she spent the majority of her career, and moved to H. Ligarde Elementary, where she ultimately retired from after her long years of service

She is preceded in death by her parents: Juan de Leon Jr. and Josefa Romanos.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband: Pablo Duran; children: Natividad Salinas Jr.; granddaughter: Sabrina Salinas; as well as other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 7 to 10 am at Gamez &  Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 10 am to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church where a Mass will be held at 10:30 am.

All services conclude at the church.
