Leandro Hernandez

Leandro Hernandez, 59, passed away July 5th, 2018 in Laredo, TX. after battling Melanoma Cancer.

He is proceeded in death by his son, Orlando Hernandez, father, Antonio Hernandez Sr., brother, Antonio Hernandez Jr, niece & nephew: Grizelda “Grey” and Dominic A. Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife Sandra C. Hernandez, son, Leandro Hernandez Jr., Daughters: Mari Y. Hernandez (Antonio Zaragoza) & Christina Hernandez (Juan P. Ballesteros), Grandchildren: Antonio Zaragoza, Rojelio Zaragoza, Rafael Zaragoza, Desiree N. Ballesteros, Juan P. Ballesteros Jr., Saul E. Zaragoza, Yvette N. Zaragoza.

Mr. Hernandez was awaiting the birth of his 8th grandchild, Abraham O. Ballesteros (Daughter Christina) & his first great grandchild Zaragoza (Grandson Rojelio).

He is also survived by his mother Delfina Hernandez, brothers: Alonzo Hernandez, Ramiro (Juanita) Hernandez, sisters: San Juana Hernandez, Isabel Fernandez, Maria Connie (Braulio) Lugo & many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 9, 2018, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Pallbearers will be: Leandro Hernandez Jr., Rojelio Zaragoza, Juan P. Ballesteros, Alonzo Hernandez, Ramiro Hernandez, Javier Castro, Domingo Reyes, Juan M. Garcia.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Juan P. Ballesteros Jr., Saul E. Zaragoza, Santiago Aguilar. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
