Leonardo Rangel

Leonardo Rangel, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose & Maria Antonia Rangel; children, Ricardo Rangel, Sara Alicia Rangel.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rafaela San Miguel; children, Maria Concepcion (Jesus) Lopez, Antonia Rangel, Armando Rangel, Maria Elena Rangel, Bertha Alicia Rangel; 30 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Rosa (Ramona) Contreras, Juan Rangel, Emeterio Rangel, numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where a rosary will recite at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 9:00a.m.

Interment will follow directly to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if the funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
