Leopolda Sanchez de Vallejo, 80, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Sanchez de Vallejo is preceded in death by her daughter, Maribel Hernandez; husband, Santiago Vallejo.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Concepcion Vallejo, Elva Julia (Juan Manuel) Arteaga, Alberto Vallejo, Norma (Ruben) Garza, Veronica (Alfredo) Guerrero, Brenda (Reynaldo) Pulido, Deyanira (Rogelio) Rojas, Oscar (Maria Elena) Vallejo, and Elsa Raquel (Bernardo) Martinez; siblings, Bertha (Roberto) Lopez, Eduardo Sanchez, Isidro (Maria) Sanchez, and Lina Campos. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral Services and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m. Procession will be held at 9:30 a.m. to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alberto Vallejo, Oscar Vallejo, Alfredo Guerrero, Oscar Vallejo Jr., Juan Isais Arteaga, Ruben Garza Jr., Eric Martinez, and Martin Hernandez Jr.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
