Luz Elizabeth Delgado Strunk

Luz Elizabeth (Lucy) Delgado Strunk passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020.

Lucy is survived by her son, Jack Strunk Jr.; parents, Fausto & Enriqueta Delgado, along with her siblings, Fausto Alberto Delgado, Angel (Cassandra) Delgado-Reyes, Abigail (Hugo) Delgado Martinez, Ana Cecilia Delgado, and David (Monica) Delgado. She is also survived by many beloved relatives and friends.

Her pride & joy were her nieces and nephews: Fausto A. Delgado II, Hugo Ezequiel Martinez, Levi B. Martinez, Selah Martinez, David Isaac Delgado, Kayla I. Delgado, Sophia A. Delgado.

Lucy had a big smile and an even bigger heart! She will remain forever in the hearts of her loved ones as the person who most made us laugh!

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. where a chapel service will be recited at 10:00 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Interment will follow immediately to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
