Manuel Hurtado

Manuel Hurtado, 72, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, was called to his eternal resting place on January 26, 2022 surrounded by his family. He entered this world on March 27, 1949 in Monterrey, NLE, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Catarino Hurtado & Maria Ascencion Sanchez de Hurtado; siblings, Matilde Hurtado De Gonzalez, Valentina Hurtado De Gonzalez, Josefina Hurtado De Tienda, Palemo Hurtado Sanchdez, German Hurtado Sanchez, and Humberto Hurtado.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Raquel G. Hurtado; children, Manuel ( Deyanira Abarca) Hurtado Jr., Raquel Elizabeth (Eleazar Garza Jr.) Hurtado; grandchildren, Ibelly Garza, Joselyn Garza, Eleazar Garza III, and Johnathan A. Abarca; siblings, Julia Hurtado de Gonzalez, Juan Hurtado Sanchez, Gregorio Hurtado Sanchez, Guadalupe Hurtado de Sanchez, and Maria Josefa Hurtado de Reyna, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from the funeral home to Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m. and departs at 9:30 a.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
