Margarita Garza, 74, passed away on August 3, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Valente and Maria Landa;husband, Horacio Garza;son, Omar Garza;siblings, Antonio Landa, Ruperto Landa, Agapita Landa, Ricardo Landa, and Alfredo Landa.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Nora Garza (Jaime Gomez), Oscar Garza (San Juana Rodriguez), Norma Garza (Juan Ramon Martinez), Cesar (Perla) Garza, Melva Garza (Valentin Barrios), Eduardo Garza (Monica Agent), Adriana Garza (Apolinar Torres), and Jesus Garza (Christine Hinojosa); daughter-in- law, Particia Alvarez;siblings, Viviano Landa, Anita Cantu, and Celestino Landa. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gamez & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral Home to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Oscar Garza, Cesar Garza, Eduardo Garza, Jesus Garza, Valentin Barrios, Omar Garza, Edward Garza, and Apolinar Torres.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.

Una visita se llevará a cabo el lunes 5 de agosto de 2019 de 5pm a 9pm en Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Se rezará un rosario a las 7:00 pm. Los servicios funerarios serán el martes 6 de agosto de 2019, desde la funeraria hasta la Iglesia Madre Cabrini, donde se celebrará una misa fúnebre a las 11:00 a.m. Una procesión saldrá de la funeraria a las 10:30 a.m. Seguirá el sepelio de inmediato en el Cementerio Católico del Calvario.
