Margarito Moreno

Margarito Moreno, 70, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Moreno is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo & Columba Moreno; sister, Lorenza Moreno.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Hilda Moreno; children, Lizzeth (Cristian) Magallanes, Denisse Moreno (Jose Sergio Campos), Luis Uriel Moreno (Norma Karina Sanchez), Irving Osbaldo Moreno; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Conception Moreno, Matias Moreno, Mercedes Sifuentes, Sylvia Silva, Eliazar Silva, Francisco Silva, Joel Silva, Gerardo Silva, Pascual Moreno, numerous other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 departing at 9:00 a.m to Nuestra Senora Del Rosario Church where a mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
