Maria Teresa Barrera

Ms. Maria Teresa Barrera, 37, entered into God's glory on January 15, 2024 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father Jorge Omar Barrera Sr.; brothers: Juan Gallegos Jr. and Armando Gallegos.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her mother: Maria de Jesus Barrera; siblings: Sandra (David) Reyes, Jorge Omar (Stephanie) Barrera Jr., Mary Alice Barrera; nieces and nephews: Juan Pablo Puente, Victor (Yamilek) Puente, Ashlee (Luis) Puente, Armando Gallegos Jr., Alyssa (Brenden) Gallegos, Jocelyn Leyva, Isabella Gallegos, Alayla Barrera, Jorge Barrera III, Maisie Esparza, Krystal Esparza, Kailyn Barrera, David Reyes III, and Lina Reyes. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will gather on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church at 10:30 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
