Maria Mendoza

Maria C. "Tia Kelo" Mendoza, 86, was called by the Lord on Monday, April 10, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Librado A. & San Juanita Sanchez, brothers: Rogelio Jesus (Maria Elena) Sanchez and Salvador Sanchez and sisters: Maria Elena (Reymundo) Estrada, Sara (Pedro) Martinez & Maria Belia (Jesus) Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Lourdes (Hector) Castañeda, Manuel Gabriel (Angeles) Mendoza & Maria Dolores Leija, sisters: Maria Floreslinda (+Jesus) Martinez & Rosa Maria (Alfredo) Lopez, Sr., grandchildren: Lourdes Clark, Hector (Noemi) Castañeda, Jr., Manuel G. Mendoza, Jr., Ricardo Galvan, Jr., Miguel Angel Galvan, Martha (Rolando) Grajeda, Ruby (Daniel) Meza, Juan Joel (Vanessa) Galvan, Luis Antonio (Selena) Leija & Salvador Arturo Leija, 33 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017, from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:00am. A cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
