Maria Mota

Maria Zamora Mota, 90, was called by the Lord on August 1, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe & Mercedez Zamora, brothers: Jose (Esperanza) Zamora & Francisco Zamora.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 64 years of marriage, Venancio Mota, children: Rosa M. (Ricardo) Ramos, Graciela (Gilberto) Rodriguez, Berta Alicia Rodriguez, Hermelinda Monica (Francisco) Jimenez, Lourdes (Martin) Montante, Venancio (Martha) Mota Jr. & Irma Y. (Salvador Jr.) Balderrama, brother, Jesus (Mariana) Zamora, sister-in-law: Maria Zamora, 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 3, 2018, from the funeral home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30am. Interment will follow immediately at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jose Ramos, Eduardo Ramos, Gilberto Rodriguez Jr., Jesus Rodriguez Jr., Francisco Daniel Jimenez, Miguel Angel Montante, Benjamin Mota & Salvador Balderrama III.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to her best friend, Leonor Gamez, for all the support and care given to Maria for many years. Additionally, they would like give a special thanks to Dr. Ildefonzo Flores and staff and the LMC nurses from department 2D for their attentiveness.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
