Maria Rodriguez

Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez, 62, passed away surrounded by her family on October 25, 2018.

Mrs. Rodriguez was passionate about teaching, she was an educator in Nuevo Laredo for 30 years and was currently employed with UISD at United South Middle School. She was a devoted Catholic, exemplary mother and loving wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leopoldo Moreno and Maria G Moreno.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 40 years, Salvador Rodriguez, children: Laura Olivia (Albert) Del Rio, Cindy (Roman) McCorkle, Salvador Rodriguez Jr., Alex (Selena Salas) Rodriguez, grandchildren: Roman Aguilar, Salvador Rodriguez III, Adrian Rodriguez, Madison Mila Del Rio, and Alex Rodriguez Jr., brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Monday, October 29, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. A cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
