Maria Gonzalez

Maria S. Gonzalez, 80, Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, passed away on Saturday,July 30, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents Norberto Parra and Francisca Ortega de Parra and by her brothers and sisters, Exiquio, Rosario, Lourdes and Lilia Parra.

She is survived by her daughter Maria Isabel (Francisco) Santellano, and by her son Jose Noe (Monica) Parra; grandchildren: Frank (Sandy) Arevalo, Santos (Laura) Arevalo and John Arevalo, Lilia (Julio) Gonzalez, Jessica (Mario) Salinas, Angel Gonzalez, Annette Gonzalez, Lizbeth Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez Jr.,  Miguel Angel Parra, Noe Alessandro Parra and Carlos Perez; siblings Rita (Francisco), Norberto and Dora Alicia Parra, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5 until 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop; Ste. 1, where a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 10:30 am with vitiation that morning from 8 until 1030 am.

Procession will form and proceed to the Laredo City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest in the family plot.
