Maria D. Luna, 39, was called by the Lord on February 5, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Antonio Luna.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jailene Juarez, Matthew Luna; mother, Teresa Valadez; siblings, Joshua (Joanna) Reyes, Claudia Luna, Cecilia (Carlos) Quintana, Mario Reyes, Juan Antonio Luna Jr., Juanita Reyes, numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Visitations will continue on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Funeral Services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
