Maria de Jesus Esquivel

Maria de Jesus Esquivel, 86, was called by the Lord on July 9, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Esquivel, daughter, Aida Benavidez, son, Abraham Esquivel Jr., & siblings: Bertha Leija, Juventino Calderon, Macedonio Calderon, & Gelina Ramirez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Elvia Esquivel, MaryLou (+Leonardo) Alejandro, Lourdes (Henry) Pedraza, Leticia Esquivel, Sandra (Jorge) Silva, Sonia Esquivel, & Juanita Diaz, daughter in law, Beatriz Bustos Morales, siblings: Alicia Calderon Macias, Ludivina Calderon Macias, Hilda Calderon Macias, & Esther Calderon Macias, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on July 11, 2021, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue July 12, 2021, from 7am to 9am at the funeral home. A procession will depart at 9:00am to Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30am. A cremation and interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
