Maria Teresa Cantu

Maria Teresa Cantu, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo and Ramona Lecea; brothers, Leopoldo Lecea and Jesus Lecea.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Roberto M.) Dominguez, Lydia (Benito) Mendiola, Jose Ricardo (Diana) Cantu, Maria Teresa (Ramiro) Sanchez, Adriana (Julio) Martinez, Maria del Rosario (Aaron) Garza, Pedro Gil III, and Leopoldo (Margarita) Gil; siblings, Juan Manuel (Olivia) Lecea and Rebecca Sanchez. She is also survived by her 36 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Procession will be held immediately after to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
