Mario Alberto Benavides

Mario A. Benavides, 45, beloved husband, was called to his eternal resting place on February 20, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his father, Armando Benavides; brother, Andres Benavides; paternal grandparents, Jose Antonio & Josefa Benavides; maternal grandparents, Jose Alberto Tranquillino & Elida Moreno.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years of marriage, Martha L Lopez; children, Omarya  (Christian Ovalle) Benavides, Ashley (Orlando Gomez) Granada, Mario Alberto Benavides Jr., Mariely Benavides; grandchildren, Jade Ovalle Benavides, Avery L. Granada, Alexander Leonel Gomez; mother, Maria Benavides; siblings, Armando Benavides, Ithiel Benavides; Parents-in-law, Leonel (Josefa+) Lopez; brother-in-laws, Leonel M. (Alejandra) Lopez, Luis M. (Sonia) Lopez, numerous other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from the funeral home to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m. and departs at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
