Martha Cruz Castellano

Martha Cruz Castellano, 83, was called by the Lord on June 21, 2023, in Laredo, Texas.  Martha was born on January 17, 1940 and has left behind many cherished memories that will be carried throughout her family's generations.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benito Roy Castellano; son, Martin Castellano; siblings, Ana Valdez & Roberto Cruz; parents, Conrado Cruz Sr. & Carmen Lazcano; grandchildren, Cynthia Laura Castellano & Jason Roy Castellano.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Benito (Laura) Castellano Jr., Martha C. (Felipe) Zuniga; daughter-in-law, Lourdes Castellano; grandchildren, Benny Castellano III, April Castellano, Martin Castellano Jr., Maribel Zuniga, Delma Zuniga, Alexa Zuniga; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Dolores Guardiola, Conrado (Beatriz) Cruz Jr., Carmen Solis, Magdalena Tijerina, Maria Elena (Vicente) Dominguez, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be recited for the repose of her soul at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, departing the chapel at 8:30 am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbears will be Benito Castellano Jr., Benny Castellano III, Martin Castellano Jr., Vicente Dominguez Jr., Sergio Dominguez, Eddie Lozano, Conrado Valdez.
