Martha Lopez Vargas, 50, was called to her eternal resting place on January 23, 2022. She entered this world on September 14, 1971 in Nuevo Laredo, TAM, born to Mariano Lopez & Martina Vargas de Lopez.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Cruz; parents, Mariano Lopez & Martina Vargas de Lopez.

She is survived by her children, Jesus Cruz, Marianna Lopez, Angelica Cruz, and Emily Lopez; grandchildren, Leah Marie Ortiz, Valentina Dennise Ortiz; best friend, Jose Martinez, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a chapel service will be held at 10:30 a.m. A funeral cortege will depart at 11:30 from the funeral home to the Laredo City Cemetery where a graveside service will be held at 11:45 a.m.
