Mauro Castillo, III, 44, has been called to return to God's presence on January 4, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 1, 1980 in Modesto, California, the son of Mauro Jr. and Sara Castillo.

He is preceded in death by his father: Mauro Castillo Jr.; grandfather: Mauro Castillo Sr.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved spouse: Adriana Castillo; children: Josie (Miguel Morales) Castillo, Mauro (Ariel Puente) Castillo IV, Eloy (Marisol Vasquez) Castillo, Isaac Castillo, Abraham Castillo; grandchildren: Matthew Castillo, Elijah Morales, Ezekiel Morales, Jesus Castillo, and Mauro Castillo V; mother: Sara (Eloy Hernandez) Gallegos; siblings: Sergio (Blanca) Castillo, Cynthia (Ricky) Martinez, Mike (Deyanira Saldierna) Castillo, Angel (Maria) Castillo, Illiana Hernandez; grandparents: Ignacia Castillo, Sofia Gallegos, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 9:30 am to Santo Niño Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
